An amazing thing happened to us on this trip while fishing  with our guide Peter  "bubbles" Hearden . While fishing the flats we noticed some dolphins thrashing on the surface. A large shinny fish was sticking out the mouth of one before it casually tossed it in the air. Downing rods & zooming over in the fishing skiff we realized it was a permit .The dolphins  seemed to be playing a full contact sports game with this poor fella. As we came along side the match in progress  flipper dropped the ball it seems, I landed the permit by the tail and it was game over.  This fish was beat up pretty bad but the toughness of these fish is shown in this video as watch the fish revived and released.
