Randall Bryett
Randall Bryett grew up on the Sunshine Coast of Australia with some the worlds best fishing around every corner. He has worked in many aspects of the fishing industry including chasing the Giant Black Marlin at the prestigious Lizard Island. He is a avid fly fisherman who likes to find his own path. When not traveling he resides in Northern California with his wife Kate and their adopted cats.
Back in 2002
Australia America Fishing Connections organized a trip with Jose Wejebe
and the Spanish Fly crew to fish and film the remote Cape York region
of Queensland, Australia. We sailed on the newly built mothership
"Tropic Paradise" belonging to Greg Bethune and his company Carpentaria
Seafaris. This was the first time an American film crew had documented
this fishery and 5 episodes were produced for airing on ESPN2. This is
part 2 of a short film made onboard the "Paradise" during the trip.
Featuring queenfish, tuna, sharks, barramundi and giant Queensland
Grouper this video gives a great overview of this destination. In part
1 see Jose catch queenfish and barramundi after arriving in style by
helicopter. More information is
