Brendan Mason
Brendan Mason is a Canadian born angler who now lives in Seattle, Washington. Brendan has fished all of his life and started a passion for fly in British Columbia where he grew up. His father a search and rescue expert and his mother a teacher, Brendan has the brains and skills to both out think and survive longer than the average Joe Blow. Brendan has fished extensively for trout and salmonids but in recent years has attacked the saltwater with gusto. His travels have taken him to Australia, Mexico, Argentina and beyond. Brendan also has the distinction of catching a 600 lb Mako on fly while fishing San Diego in 2006.  You can often find him stalking carp in the shallows of Green Lake in Seattle.

Capt. Brian Jill guides the crystal clear waters of Tampa Bay and the Gulf Coast of Florida. Fly fishing in shallow water for Reds, Snook, and Tarpon doesn't get better than this!

Capt. Brian Jill is a native to the Tampa Bay area, having grown up on the Florida Gulf Coast he has a close connection with the surrounding waters and the fish that live there. His Fly Fishing career has taken him to far off locations around the globe such as Argentina, Iceland, New Zealand, Mongolia, just to name a few. He was one of the founders of the Angling Exploration Group and his work with them has helped to pave a way for the new adventure style of Fly Fishing videos. He attended Colorado State and graduated with a degree in Anthropology. After 5 years of mountain life he decided that he needed to return to the ocean and continue his fly fishing lifestyle. When not guiding he can be found working on a film project or editing the latest footage shot from the day.

I first met Brian deep in southern Patagonia when I joined him and some other mutual friends to fish on the trip that would later become the basis of the Trout Bum Diaries.  Since then, I've made a visit to Florida to fish with Brian an annual tradition.  The Tampa Bay area offers a variety of fishing from tarpon on the flats to snook and redfish from dock lights at night.  We've also encountered speckled sea trout, cobia, jacks, ladyfish, and other species in the mangroves and along the beaches.
