Randall Bryett grew up on the Sunshine Coast of Australia with some the worlds best fishing around every corner. He has worked in many aspects of the fishing industry including chasing the Giant Black Marlin at the prestigious Lizard Island. He is a avid fly fisherman who likes to find his own path. When not traveling he resides in Northern California with his wife Kate and their adopted cats.
Good Mate Al Simson has what many call a dream job. He is a guide for Carpentaria Seafaris and is well on his way to being the main man under Greg Bethune's tutoring. Tough days and hard work are the norm for guides working this remote location and they do not get to fish everyday contrary to what many may think. Imagine having fish all around you and not having a chance to cast...that a guides job and it is not for everyone. However being based in on of the worlds best fly fishing locations has its advantages on the days off. Al recently sent a email which really pissed me off :-) this line in particular "went down to the Ducie and Wentlock. Wicked barra fishing . Hooked around 50 barra in 2 days. I hooked a nice one off the beach after work." To top it off he attached this picture.. What a bastard!!!
