What a fun few days fishing we have had on the Delta over the weekend.
Thank you Dan for a wonderful day of fishing yesterday. Fishing with
you and talking about the history of the locations and the big fish
caught there kept me on my toes. Every cast and every strip had me
wondering if that Big Moe was about to bite on! Thanks Mate again and I
look forward to going back and hitting a few more HPS's.
I would also like to throw out a big public thanks to Doug Lovell from Fish First for once again fishing Kate and
I over the Thanksgiving weekend.
After fishing with both Doug and Dan over 3 days I never saw the same
patch of turf more than once. It is a amazing place within easy reach
of the big smoke and has fantastic Striper fishing but it would not be
half as good without great mates! Both of you guys rock and you are a
couple of the hardest working fisherman I know.
One thing that still haunts me today is the Karaoke version of Elvira sung by some drunken hillbilly at the Sugar Barge on Saturday night. I'm pretty sure a lot of the Big Fish were put off the bite by that bloke...
Cheers
